The Coatinggap Stretchcoater is the ideal entry-level instrument for the scalable coating of functional thin films. This system was developed to enable easy control of coating on rigid and flexible substrates, requiring only a fraction of the cost and footprint. Drawing on years of experience in materials research and slot-die coating, the Stretchcoater offers the necessary freedom for everyday experimentation through its simplified design. The Stretchcoater is characterized by outstanding precision and reproducibility for a wide range of laboratory materials and coating processes relevant to both industry and science.

Robust slot-die coating system

The system is designed for the quick and easy coating of functional materials in laboratories. Similar to the Minicoater, the compact Stretchcoater can be installed under a laminar flow hood or glovebox. Despite its compact size, the Cubecoater's robust construction and advanced technology enable uniform and precise coating.

Thanks to its robust construction, the stretch coater can handle even heavy slot dies while maintaining high precision. A granite base is used to ensure maximum flatness.

Easy handling and alignment

Both flexible and rigid substrates up to a size of 300×650 mm can be freely positioned on the vacuum table. Height and lateral positioning enables systematic, rapid experimentation and studies, where the operator retains full control at all times.
